hey there ms Natalie, I know that things get slippery when it comes to blogging and re-blogging words, but I don't think its appropriate for you as a white person to have a tumbl-post that begins with the word "N**ga" that word has a terrible violent history, and while I gather that you were mostly engaging in the discussion on sea-creatures, I still think it is something you should be considerate of.

I had some real hesitations when I reblogged the OP’s post, and I edited the post after coming back home and feeling uncomfortable with being a white lady reblogging such a violent word. I have seen conversations between POC about whether it’s better to censor or not censor words like n*****; some POC prefer their words not be censored, other POC don’t like the word, and some POC just don’t care. I would like to err on the side of least offense but as a white person I have no idea what concept of “least offensive” is in this situation.
