What are you trying to sew?It’s just a simple sleeveless bodice and full skirt! I was hoping to draft something basic that I could then add on to to make all kinds of variations.
I have this book which was recommended when I did a pattern drafting course. It gives you step by step instructions to make all the slopers, and then how to modify them into different things. I’ve used it as much to help me mod things as to create new patterns - although it sounds like you don’t need as much handholding as me! My sewing instincts have yet to emerge.
I am wishlisting the shit out of this book!! I bought “Fit for Real People”* a while ago and it’s a bit helpful for modifying fit but I want more detail.
* As opposed to “Fit for Impostors” and “Fit for Nebulous Sentient Beings”.
