Let me tell you, internets, let me tell you about the Babysitter’s Club. Which I’m sure you already know about but ‘wev, this is my Tumblr so I can wax rhapsodically if I want. Which I do. I had, like, 40 of these. And I carried them around in a ginormous stack if I had to leave my house for more than a few days and I anticipated being bored at all.
Not gonna lie, I was a lit snob as a kid and these were not even great literature. But I read the hell out of these and wanted to dress like Claudia. Actually, I still want to dress like Claudia. Actually, actually, sometimes I do. Ahem.

I didn’t own many of the books because Mum couldn’t afford to buy many for me but I used to sit in the bookstore opposite the supermarket and would read from end to end while Mum was grocery shopping!
