I wish I knew other fat type 1 diabetics. My new doctor wants me to go on metformin again. But it’s ok because apparently there’s a new version without all the dangerous side effects. I feel like I can’t refuse to take it. All my test results came back ok (Hb1Ac of 7… perfect!) it’s just that my cholesterol is just a little bit upward in the normal range. Apparently that’s cause for the doctor to huff and puff about strokes and heart disease.
I don’t know what to do and I feel very alone.
