I was wondering if your new nail polish color was named after THAT Tina Sparkle! Is that movie more well-known in Australia? Because practically no one knows it here (mid-atlantic USA)…

Any suggestions for sewing skirts? Should a rad fattie go for wide bottoms that bell out or tighter, pencil-style designs?

It depends on what the rad fatty likes to wear to be honest!!! I love wearing loose tops with pencil skirts and tight tops with big fluffy skirts, so there is probably room for all types of skirts in a rad fatty’s wardrobe.

Pencil skirt tutorials can be found on the internet in a few places, but I’ve never made one before. If I made one I’d buy some fabric with a bit of stretch for extra comfort.

Gathered skirts can be a snap to make once you get the hang of it. It’s basically a wide rectangle attached to a waistband, a band that cases elastic or a wide piece of elastic. Gertie has a good tutorial for full gathered skirts. And here’s a circle skirt tutorial too.

I hate that I can only get wide width shoes and plus size clothes at a reasonable price online but

I LOVE PARCELS.

The Grasshopper slip ons on the right are sooooo comfortable. I need something for walking around in that isn’t my sports shoes and they’re perfect.

The Annie sandals are great too. I’ve been looking for a flat black sandal I can slip on without too much fuss forever.

I was looking around in Payless Shoes yesterday and noticed their women’s shoes went up to size AU 13! HORAH! Wide width shoes are pretty rare though, and are never properly marked on the box. :(

There were some AMAZING sparkly platform high heels but I am too wise to even consider putting them on my feet these days. I’ve had too many foot and ankle injuries to take my body for granted.
