That is an EXCELLENT idea! Low GI so that you don’t feel grumpy and tired at your desk later, not Low GI so OMG BIKINI BODY

Yah! And for diabetics, who are already dealing with a great deal of grief about their bodies and food, who don’t need the extra trauma and shame, if all they can find is low/ no carb info posturing as low GI info… argh it’s just NOT HELPFUL!!

Will likely be talking to nutritionists (and ugh maybe dieticians, and I mean their job may not be about weight loss but I don’t like the job title!) as part of Nick’s treatment so I will be sniffing out people who suck at being respectful of bodies and people who educate without shame.
