Our school had Troll Book Order, and it was MAGNIFICENT.
there were two things that could make me move quickly as a child: the ice cream man and Scholastic Book Club.
This takes me back to childhood. I would circle what I wanted and give it to mum and she’d tell me we had no money to spend on books and that I could read the latest BSC at the book store while she went grocery shopping.
But there was the promise of new books in these catalogues… it was exciting.
