I am going to write this list from asking directions between capital cities (you can do some math to try to figure out differences yourself or look it up even) on GoogleMaps which is not necessarily accurate. In fields where GM gives me >1 option, I will take the greater distance. I am often finding myself explaining for different reasons to my friends in other countries the distances between the Major cities, Capital cities and how big our states are. COOL.

- Hobart -> Melbourne: 693 km

- Sydney -> Brisbane: 959 km
1 kilometre: 0.621371192 miles

I once did a road trip with friends to Sydney and we made it there in under 10 hours. I miss doing road trips.
But yes, it takes a long time and a lot of petrol and your butt gets really sore.
