Rachel Funari, the US citizen, long time Australian based radical feminist who founded Lip mag and did a tonne of work re: young women in media & body image is missing.
She disappeared in Tasmania recently. Facebook account of the search here, although the possibility she died in the bush is being accepted by family.
I don’t know anything more about it than that, and only every contacted Rachel online about various feminist projects [different states, different parts of feminism]
Reblog because a fair few people who started their media work or womens’ politics in the early 2000’s would know of her, might want to know she is missing.
