I’ve heard that poodles are cunty ass dogs. These look it.
A friend of mine has an awesome Standard Poodle. I think the miniature ones get a bad rap, but Standards are pretty huge and energetic and super smart. They get bored unless there is something going on - but that’s pretty typical for retrievers. And they’re good for people with allergies because they don’t have an undercoat.
It seems like my family, immediate and extended, has always had toy and miniature poodles. They can be needy with their families and aloof with strangers, but I’ve only ever had loving and wonderful interactions with poodles. I remember when my Nana’s dog was really old he would crawl into my lap and let you love him, and when my Mum’s dog reached that age she’d do the same thing. (I totally want to cry as I’m writing this!)
Because poodles don’t really shed, they’ve been great for my allergic family.
And now I miss Phoebe :(
