I really want to tell you that finding your blog changed my life. I first happened upon it when I was 15, and you indirectly introduced me to fat acceptance. I come from a small country town with barely any other big girls around, and so the idea that it was possible to be fat and not hate yourself was foreign to me. But the idea that there were other people like you out there who were not just encouraging people to love their own bodies but were also speaking up about the crap that we are subjected to about our weight by the whole of society opened a whole new world to me. I’m 17 now and I thanks to people like you who were my unknowing role models, I have decided to love myself for who I am. I really attribute the life changing decision to you. You are an amazing woman and I hope you are proud of the fact that you are so inspiring to so many people.
