No restrictions. Lots of swearing.
YES!
this morning i had to go with my mom while she signed up for Weight Watchers, as REQUIRED by her health insurance. i sat off to the side while she stood in line. the place was packed (i don’t know why, but i swear it was also 100% white) and women kept asking me if i was in the line and i kept saying “no, i’m sitting over here waiting for someone to finish”. and it seemed like they were all looking at me with pity. i wanted to stand up and shout “FUCK YOU, I AM BEAUTIFUL. AND GUESS WHAT? SO ARE YOU!”
It’s not (only) about the size you are, but about how healthy you are. I can understand your frustration when looked down upon by people, but fact is that there IS something like being ‘overweight’ (I don’t mean according to fashion magazines standards) So, yes you ARE beautiful (in what ever size), but are you HEALTHY as well?
um, FUCK YOU
That is the most appropriate and succinct of reactions when the health police barge in on you.
Fuck you, too, health police. Gonna think of you each time I deep-throat my chocolate crepes, yeah.
I wheeeezed with laughter at Pear’s commentary!!!!
I just can’t get with the idea that my health is somehow OWED to other people, or that I need to justify my body or what I eat. That is some fucked up shit. Like, how do other people even have any fucking idea what my health is like? I certainly don’t think they actually CARE about it.
