I really hope that it turns out that Oprah visited Mutitjulu to, in some way, reflect on the way Australia has treated its indigenous people, rather than simply to ooh and ahh at the mystical Aborigines. Given her social justice campaigns (child abuse etc) it’s not so far fetched. I would especially love it given the amount of cash that Tourism Australia has ponied up for her visit.
