Every time there’s a moment of cultural controversy, PETA capitalizes on it. They - are at least their marketing department - are a bunch of slime balls. This is why they continue to sexual women in their ads, to trade upon society’s hatred of fat, and to generally stir up attention through controversy.

It’s not an unsuccessful strategy, yo.

But that’s why I’m not reblogging their latest and greatest - the nipple shading on that “scan” is a particularly PETA touch. *facepalm* They don’t deserve the trackbacks. They don’t deserve the notoriety.

tl;dr: PETA is up to its old tricks, trying to use controvery-of-the-now to… I’m not exactly sure what. Supposedly, to encourage people to go vegan. This is their marketing strategy. I am OPTING OUT of spreading their bullshit for them.

Yes, yes! This is why I don’t comment on their fat shaming tactics.
