I need your help for an illustration job I am hopeful to undertake. I need references for anatomy and posing of (minimum) 2 fat people engaged in sexy and loving contact and
a) I don’t watch porn
b) In my research in the last week I have found that representation of diverse body shapes is pretty much non existent.
In the porn I have come across it seems that the female bodied performer is always the focus. The object. And that is not fantastic for using as a reference because the book is about a wide variety of genders, and also about all parties enjoying sexual positions. There is also a disturbing lack of porn with fat bodied performers, and any porn aimed at people who like fat bodies is aimed at people who are attracted only to fat female bodies. It’s most certainly apparent that the female body is the object the viewer is meant to be focusing on, and that’s great for some but many readers of this book won’t just be attracted to females and they ought to be represented.
Usually the partner of the fat female performer is male and super lean or muscly, and at any rate lots of the time the porn tagged as “chubby” (not “fat” oh my goodness!) only involves fat women on the smaller end of the spectrum of fat. That will not do because the readers of this book might not be male and super lean or muscly, and there should be fat bodies represented from the whole spectrum of fat. It’s a book about fat sex. Fat sex between fat people. Maybe a girl and a girl. Maybe a boy and a boy. Maybe not just two people. Maybe fat sex between people who don’t want to identify in the gender binary.
Porn doesn’t consider these people. It makes me feel frustrated as an artist, and very sad and unattractive as a fat person. I want to do a good job of these illustrations so that readers of the book will be able to find representation. Maybe they will be able to express their sexuality better than I have ever been able to express mine.
So… here’s how you can help. If you know of any good porn involving fat people (min. 2) would you please let me know? It can be a video or photos, I don’t mind. I have exhausted the avenues I know of (um, google images and a torrent site with a terrible tagging system.)
