shit, we’re all artists in that case.
The problem is that you’re putting the word artist on a pedestal, as if it’s a very important title and not a description of an activity or occupation. Everyone is an artist. So what then?

If you want to be a photographer, you’ve got to practice. You’ve got to pick up a camera. You’ve got to start somewhere.
I think we could possibly all be artists, it’s just that lots of people get dissuaded because they’re not instantly AMAZING when they start. Guess what? No one is. So practice.

I think it’s important to note that many people do not get access to certain tools so they don’t even have a chance to practice art making!
